NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN as provided in the DEKALB COUNTY COMMUNITY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICTS ACT OF 2008 (Ga. L. 2008, p. 3817) that a caucus of Electors of the East Metro DeKalb Community Improvement District (CID) shall be held on the 26th day of October 2020. Due to the current health emergency, the meeting of the caucus of electors will be held via Zoom video Conferencing tool at https://us02web.zoom.us/j/6262225799.
The purpose of the caucus is to elect a post position, post 3, an equity post, as a Board Member to serve on the East Metro DeKalb Community Improvement District Board. Nominations for the post will be accepted from October 15, 2020 at 8:00 o’clock AM and will close on October 16 at 5:00 o’clock PM. Nominations can be sent by email to elections@eastmetrocid.com Registration for the election shall be held from October 15, 2020 at 8:00 o’clock A.M. until October 19, 2020 at 5:00 o’clock P.M. Registration packets may be requested by sending an email to elections@eastmetrocid.com.
Voting will occur by emailed ballots from October 21, 2020 at 8:00 o’clock A.M until October 22, 2020 at 5:00 o’clock P.M. Completed ballots must be returned to elections@eastmetrocid.com by Thursday, October 22nd at 5:00 o’clock P.M. to be counted. Procedures will be listed on the CID website. A map of said District is on file with the DeKalb County Commission Clerk. All Electors as designated under the Act are invited to attend and cast their votes.
Post 3 is currently being served by Mrs. Annie Gibson-Ervin representing Kaiser Permanente. Mrs. Gibson-Ervin is seeking re-election to Post 3.
